Soundproof San Diego is a local gem and we are so glad we found them. We added an upstairs ADU and the walking noise from our tenants was more than we expected. I scheduled a consultation with Neil Hamovitch which was very helpful. Soon after Soundproof San Diego was here doing the work. The people who worked at our house were professional and did quality work. I work from home and have loud kids practicing musical instruments and making other noises that kids make, and I contacted Soundproof San Diego to help me. Neil and his team were very thorough and professional throughout the whole process from the site visit and making recommendations all the way through install. I would definitely recommend anyone that needs Soundproofing to give these guys a call! BTW - I had originally called some other insulation contractors that say they do soundproofing, but none of them really seemed to understand the actual science of how sound works like these guys did. I found Neil's company, Soundproof San Diego, on Google. We needed their assistance because the soundproofing between rooms in my house was very poor. Neil personally came to our place, assessed the situation, and provided us with a plan on the same day. His team then efficiently completed the sound insulation wall in about a week. Previously, the sound insulation between our two shared walls was inadequate, and we could clearly hear voices from next wall. After their construction, we can hardly hear any sound. Soundproof San Diego is one of the highest quality contractors I have ever worked with (and I grew up in a contractor family). From Neil’s initial contact and evaluation, through work of the crew, very professional and excellent work. I had Bill as the project PM and he was very communicative and very easy to work with. We discovered one small issue the last day of the 4 week job, and the crew immediately addressed it, no questions asked. This work was done for the ceilings of 1/2 of a condo built in the 70s. The results are as expected, not “library silence”, but massive sound reduction from the AirBnB above me. I will have them back at some point to do the other half of my unit. you cannot go wrong with Soundproof San Diego.
